The worlds smallest personal locating AIS man overboard device with integrated DSC. It also includes a strobe light and can be packed into the most compact inflatable lifejackets. The MOB1 is intended to be installed within the lifejacket and will activate automatically on inflation, via a lanyard, sending the first alert within 15 seconds. The MOB1 communicates with the vessel you have been separated from and other vessels in the vicinity (up to 5 miles range dependent on conditions) with an accurate GPS fix speeding up location and recovery. In addition the MOB1 activates the DSC alarm on your vessels VHF alerting your crew to the situation. It can be configured by the user to enter the vessels DSC MMSI number.
